How to Store Food in the Refrigerator
First things First....
One of the first thing you need to know about storing food in your refrigerator is whether the refrigerator is at the proper temperature.
Most refrigerator do not have a thermometer so it is impossible to know if the refrigerator is cold enough. My first recommendation is to purchase a refrigerator thermometer. Your refrigerator should be set at 41 degrees Fahrenheit (5 degrees C). or lower.

Once you know that your refrigerator is at the proper temperature, store your food in the following order from the top down:
1. Cooked and ready to eat foods
2. Uncooked Fruits and Vegetables
3. Raw Meats
4. Poultry

To prevent possible food borne illness. You should never place raw meat above ready to eat foods or fresh fruits and vegetables.
